The new Pearl Export Select shells are formed using Pearl's exclusive Heat Compression Shell Molding System, the same process used on all Pearl drums from entry-level to the top-of-the-line Masterworks drums. Pearl's proprietary overlapping seams are gapless and allow the shells to vibrate uniformly, unencumbered by air pockets like some others.
The all new Pearl Export Select drums feature the RL-10 and RL-20 lugs for an exciting new split lug design similar to that of the renown Masters Series and totally handmade Masterworks drums. In addition to their superb visual allure, the new low-mass design enhances both resonance and sustain for an unbelievable tone.
