Pearl just announced th new RT565 Rhythm Traveler kit. This is welcome news, since they discontinued the old RT705 Rhythm Traveler kit awhile ago.

The new Pearl RT565 Rhythm Traveler takes up less than half of the footprint of a standard drum kit, and can fit just about anywhere on your floor. It's a complete 5 piece kit that includes professional quality 2 ply Pro Tone heads, 13" hi hats and a 13" crash/ride for live performance, and silent mesh heads and plastic cymbals for near-silent practicing.

Pearl Rhythm Traveler Drum Set

With the Pearl Rhythm Traveler, you get a complete set of ultra-high quality drums and hardware, specifically designed to be lightweight yet super sturdy and highly durable.

Pearl Rhythm Traveler shells are manufactured by Pearl’s patented Heat Compression Shell Molding System, which is the same process used for every drum they make.

Tom sizes are 10”, 12” and 14” and their 5” deep, single headed design allows them to neatly stack for compact travel while producing a great tone for live performance. Rhythm Traveler’s wood shell snare drum is 5”x13” and produces a very warm, full bodied snare tone with excellent crack.

With the Pearl Rhythm Traveler, you get two complete sets of heads, one for live performance and one set of Pearl’s new Muffle Heads for silent practicing. Muffle Heads are made of a super strong mesh fabric that responds like a regular drum head, while producing virtually no sound.
